Phi Omega annually awards scholarships to high school seniors who plan to matriculate at a four-year college or university. The scholarship awards are intended to provide African- American females an opportunity to achieve their post-secondary educational pursuits.
The 2020 Scholarships were awarded in two categories:
1. The Phi Omega Scholarship ($500) - awarded to two (2) female high school seniors in Winston-Salem/Forsyth County, who demonstrate outstanding academic achievement, community service, and leadership.
2. The Pearl Scholarship ($1,000) - awarded to three (3) female high school seniors who meet the above criteria but must attend a Historically Black College or University (HBCU).

The Phi Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. interviewed and recognized scholarship recipients virtually due to the COVID-19 Pandemic. Recipients were contacted personally, emailed and mailed their scholarship award certificates. The 2020 Scholarship Committee presented the Phi Omega Scholarships to: Ono Abhulimen who will attend East Carolina University and Jordan Duncan who will attend The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. The committee presented the Pearl Scholarships to Alexis Duncan who will attend Howard University, Jordynn Foster who will attend North Carolina A&T State University and Janelle Swann who will attend North Carolina Central University.
