Celebrating 100 years of Service and Sisterhood! #CentennialCelebration #PHIOMEGA
Greetings and welcome! As President of Phi Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated® I am so excited to serve as the leader for the next two years. It is such an esteemed honor to be elected to lead such a dynamic group of women in a chapter that has been serving our community for 100 years! This year Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated® celebrates 116 years of “Service to All Mankind” as the first and finest sorority created for African American educated women. Chartered on February 14, 1924, Phi Omega chapter was the first graduate chapter chartered in North Carolina. We are located in the Northern Carolina Cluster of the Marvelous Mid-Atlantic Region.
Our chapter of over 250 professional women serves the Winston-Salem/Forsyth County community on the local level. We are sensitive to the needs of those less fortunate. We perform service projects that reach to other states and countries, as far as Africa.
